Marco is currently Head of European FIG DCM at Mediobanca which he joined in 2008 after having spent 9 years with UBS in London. During his 18-year career Marco has worked in a variety of roles in DCM, NPL trading, Securitisation and M&A. In the recent past Marco has advised the Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance in the set up of the GACS scheme and has been involved in a number of transactions in the NPL space. In addition to this, Marco has managed all the 60+ bond issuances led by Mediobanca for European financial institutions since 2011. Marco graduated summa cum laude from Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi in Milan.
Mr. Longo joined Bain Capital Credit in 2013. He is a Managing Director based in Bain Capital Credit's London office in Opportunistic Credit responsible for investing in non-performing loan and real estate portfolios. Previously, Mr. Longo was a Principal in the European Principal Finance Fund at Apollo investing in non-performing loan portfolios and real estate assets being disposed by European financial institutions.
Mr. Longo received an M.Eng. from University of Cambridge and MIT.
Guido Lombardo is Head of Banking and Shareholder of Credito Fondiario a fully licensed Italian Bank, which was purchased in 2013 together with Tages Group.
Guido Lombardo founded of Harvest Investment Partners/Harvip focused on advising, organising and financing alternative investments and real estate in Italy. Guido Lombardo initiated the Credito Fondiario transaction and lead its purchase and restructuring.
Prior to that, Mr Lombardo was Managing Director and Responsible for the Private Equity Activity in Italy for Fortress Investment Group and CEO of Italfondiario Spa; Investing in Real Estate, Credit & NPLS purchasing and integrating Intesa Gestione Crediti. Mr. Lombardo was previously a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley (19932004), investment banking/capital markets in project finance and focused in securitisations; leading the most innovative securitisations in Europe and Responsible for Southern Europe. Prior to that at Hambros Bank Ltd (1987-1993) and Chase Manhattan Bank NA (1984-1987). Educated in the USA and in France, he holds a bachelor and master degrees in Finance from ESC Rouen Business School. (NEOMA).
Stefano Martarelli has been head of the central credit department of Banca dei Territori BU since March 2015, responsible for the credit network of the BU (8 regional departments and 2 product companies). The mission concerns credit granting, credit prevention, the NPL management, consumer credit process management.
At the beginning of 2017 he also became project manager for the BdT three year NPL strategic project with a dedicated team of 140 professionals.
He started his career in 1986 entering CARIPLO as a branch employee, in 2000 he took up responsibility for the Unlikely to pay office, one year later after the merger between BAV, COMIT and CARIPLO, he became responsible for doubtful credit office in Intesa for the domestic market.
In 2006, after the merger with San Paolo, he maintained this role in the new bank, and, in addition, he followed the creation of the new credit processes.
In 2009 he moved to Torino to became head of BdT doubtful credit sub department and four years later became head of BdT credit sub department.
He was member of the board of EUROFIDI between 2013 and 2015, member of the board of Banca MONTE PARMA between 2014 and 2015, and currently sits on the board of PROVIS, the group company that manages leasing npls.
Antonio is a senior credit analyst at Northlight Group, an independent asset manager focusing on European high yield. Northlight uses extensive bottom-up fundamental analysis to identify opportunities across the capital structure in order to generate attractive liquidity adjusted returns with emphasis on risk management and capital preservation. Prior to joining Northlight, Antonio was responsible for capital markets and financing at InvestIndustrial, raising in excess of €1.5bn across high yield and leveraged loans (2009-2013). Previously Antonio co-promoted and ran the European fundamental credit strategy at Magnetar Capital focusing on credit analysis and monitoring of investments (2007-2009). He has also worked with Lehman Brothers as a member of the leveraged finance and M&A teams (1998-2007). Antonio holds a degree in Economics from the University of Bologna. He is fluent in English and Italian.
Antonio Lombardo is the Partner who heads the Finance and Projects department at DLA Piper Italy. Antonio has gained significant experience in finance law, advising leading financial institutions in corporate lending structured finance, acquisition finance and other finance and restructuring matters. Fedele has more than 20 years experience in financial restructuring and distress. He joined PwC in 1996, after 5 years in a financial restructuring local boutique. He has been leading PwC Italian Business Recovery Services since 2008.
In the last 5 years he worked, as leading partner, in several financial restructuring projects on borrower side; Independent business review projects on behalf of the lenders; advisory in distress debt transactions, assisting investors in the acquisition of single names and NPL portfolios; assisting receivers in managing national and international insolvency procedures.
Claudio Stefani is currently Head of Structured Finance at Banco BPM Group, with a long standing experience since 2005. He completed his MBA at Bocconi University in Milan with distinction. He leads a team of 40 analysts engaged in Leverage Finance, Corporate and Acquisition Finance, Project Finance and Real Estate Finance in addition to Loan agency activities.

He brings more than 25 years of senior-level, hands-on management experience as both general and financial manager and corporate finance advisor. Marco specializes in operating and financial restructuring of troubled companies and unleashing post deal synergies. Luciano Morello is a partner of the Finance and Projects department and heads the Debt Capital Markets team at DLA Piper Italy. Luciano has extensive experience in finance and structured finance transactions, advising major Italian and European financial institutions in structured finance and fund/equity/credit-linked transactions. In particular, he provides assistance in the setting up of pan-European issuance platforms for the offering (to both retail and institutional investors) and listing of a wide range of securities in the EU. Ernesto Apuzzo leads the Italian Restructuring and Insolvency team.
In his almost 20 year legal career, Ernesto Apuzzo has advised Italian and international clients in a significant number of debt restructuring and turnaround transactions. Ernesto has extensive experience in M&A transactions in financial distress particularly in the financial institutions industry where he has gained a very strong and well-recognised track record. He advises also financial institutions in the transfer of Italian NPL positions.
Ernesto was appointed, together with an eminent representative from an Italian University, for drafting a proposal for a new Italian legislation on enforcement procedures and pre-bankruptcy tools within the working group established by the Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance. Their work resulted in Law Decree No. 83 enacted on 27 June 2015.
