Manuel graduated in Business Administration from Denver University (Colorado, USA) and holds an MBA from the University of Notre Dame, Indiana (USA).
He has worked almost his whole career in Investor Relations. He joins Sareb from the consultancy Orient Capital, where he worked for the past four years. He was also the founder and partner of Logical IR Solutions, Director of Strategy and External Relations at Parquesol Inmobiliaria, CEO of Eurocofin Investor Relations, Director of Equities at AB Asesores Bursatiles and Bankinter, and President and CEO of Link Securities (Brokerage House), among other roles.
Mr. Díez has more than 14 years of experience in leveraged finance, private equity, structured credit and direct lending. He has concentrated his career in Europe and Latin America in firms like Credit Suisse First Boston, JP Morgan Partners and Barclays Capital. Before joining TREA in August 2014, he was a partner at Capitania, the largest Direct Lending fund in Brazil. His responsibilities included the origination, structuring, execution, monitoring and restructuring of credit investments in industrial, infrastructure, agricultural and real estate through senior debt, receivable securitizations, CLOs, convertible and mezzanine debt. Mr. Díez holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration from Universitat Pompeu Fabra and a Master in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics with Distinction.

Lars co-founded and was the CEO of the Capital Efficiency Group AG, (the manager of the PREPS platform) which provided over €2.2bn in SME credit across Europe, financing 315 companies across 8 countries. He established origination partnership agreements with with Unicredit, SEB, Banco Sabadell, ING, Barclays, Bank Austria , Banco Populare, JP Morgan, and Credit Suisse. Before he was a Member of the Executive Team of Swiss Re NM in charge of Global Banking, managing international teams across multiple sectors, and a member of the Executive Team and Managing Director of Fox-Pitt, Kelton. He had worked as consultant for The Boston Consulting Group and started his career in M&A at UBS. He studied Finance at the HSG St Gallen and ESCP.
Blanca Perea has more than 15 years’ experience in the energy sector, and has worked on regulatory and competition issues — studying the impact of legislative reforms, new policies and energy efficiency programmes — as well as market research and the financing and valuation of energy assets, among others. She has recently participated as an expert witness in numerous lawsuits pertaining to the electricity reforms in Spain, obtaining the first favourable ruling from the Spanish Supreme Court.
Blanca Perea joins the firm after almost three years as a partner at Bluecap Management Consulting. Previously, she was a senior manager at PwC’s energy practice and managing director of COGEN España, the Spanish Association for the Promotion of Cogeneration.
Blanca Perea has a Ph.D. in Engineering, Nuclear Engineering and Physics from Catalonia’s Universidad Politécnica, and was a researcher at CERN (the European Organization for Nuclear Research) for eight years. She also holds an MBA from Georgetown-ESADE.
Jacques McChesney is a New York-qualified partner in the European Capital Markets group of the London office. Jacques is an experienced lawyer, practicing in European leveraged finance and debt capital markets, with a focus on high yield acquisition finance and bond deals. He represents issuers, sponsors and lenders on complex corporate financings. In addition, he advises clients with respect to investment grade offerings,restructurings, debt tender/consent solicitations, equity offerings, private placements, medium-term note programs, acquisitions and hybrid securities offerings.
