Richard leads our restructuring and insolvency practice in London.
With more than 20 years of restructuring experience, he has worked extensively on ‘in court’ and ‘out of court’ restructurings/refinancings, intercreditor agreement disputes, formal insolvency appointments, high-yield bond and CMBS bond restructurings, distressed M&A, English schemes of arrangement, US Chapter 11s and s363 sales, pension deficits, insurance workouts, telecoms, and insolvency aspects of structured finance.
Richard has acted across the capital structure for all the key stakeholders including corporates, lenders, bondholder/lender formal and ad hoc committees, creditors, shareholders, private equity sponsors, distressed debt investors and asset purchasers, directors, security trustees, administrators and liquidators.
Richard has particular cross border restructuring experience involving the UK, Europe, the US and across the globe.
Ahmed Khan joined KKR in 2016 and is a Principal of KKR, focusing on the Special Situations funds and portfolios. Previously, Mr. Khan was a vice president at Sankaty (Bain Capital Credit). At Sankaty, he was actively engaged in the oversight of investments across the capital structure with a focus on special situations. Mr. Khan previously worked at Blackstone. Mr. Khan graduated from The London School of Economics.
Simon Lalande joined Rothschild &Coin 2009 and has been in the restructuring and debt advisory team since 2010

Simon holds an M.Sc. from the London School of Economics and a B.Com. and a B.A. from the University of Ottawa
As a member of Boston Consulting Group’s Large Scale Change unit, Aleksandra Bozic focuses on the turnaround and transformation of both international corporations and private equity-owned businesses. She has more than 20 years of experience in business performance improvement in the private equity, banking, and advisory context; and specializes in complex, high impact, and time-critical situations.
Aleks’s extensive, cross-sector experience includes leading holistic turnarounds and redesigns of underperforming companies, with a focus on top line, EBITDA, and cash generation; as well as cost reduction programs; cross-geography treasury management; and carve-outs.
Before joining BCG, Aleks spent six years working in private equity and banking where she was responsible for driving financial and operational improvements. Prior to that she spent eight years at AlixPartners.
