Gregory Smith Emerging Markets Strategist M&G Investments

Gregory Smith is a fund manager working on M&G Investment’s dedicated emerging market funds. Prior to joining M&G he was at the World Bank for 7 years as a senior economist and sovereign debt advisor. At the World Bank he did stints covering East Asia and Africa, with time spent in Mongolia, Vietnam, Ghana, Zambia, Cameroon and Gabon. Gregory holds a PhD in economics from the University of Nottingham. His research¾focused on sustainability, sovereign debt and frontier markets¾ has been widely quoted including in the Financial Times, The Economist and the Wall Street Journal.

Anne- Laure Kiechel Founding Partner Global Sovereign Advisory

Anne-Laure Kiechel founded Global Sovereign  Advisory (GSA) in 2019. She advises some 20 heads of state and government on public and financial policy issues. 

The same year she launched a Chair on sovereign debt with Sciences Po and chairs the strategic committee of the Sorbonne  University Foundation.
