Justin is Co-Head of BlueBay's Global Leveraged Finance Long-Only Strategies and a senior portfolio manager within the Global Leveraged Finance Group. Justin joined BlueBay in April 2009, initially as Head of High Yield Trading, before moving into portfolio management at the beginning of 2012. He has over 17 years’ industry experience and spent a large part of his career at UBS where, most recently, he was Director of High Yield and Distressed Trading in Europe. Justin worked as a senior trader at MKM Longboat LLP between June and November 2008, though he returned to UBS after the fund wound down. Justin holds a BSc in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Jerome joined Alcentra in July 2018 as Research Analyst in the European Credit team, focusing on the Telco, Cable and Media sectors and selected Business Services.
Prior to joining Alcentra, Jerome worked at J.P. Morgan in acquisition & Leveraged Finance, originating and executing Leveraged Loan and High Yield Bond transactions for Corporate and Financial Sponsor clients. He started his career at J.P. Morgan in Credit Risk, covering mainly diversified industrials and financial sponsor transactions.
A citizen of Germany and Switzerland, Jerome holds a BSc inEconomics from the University of Tübingen in Germany and a MA in international relations & Finance from Johns Hopkins University (SAIS) in Washington D.C.and Bologna.
Scott Boothby is a Managing Director and the global Head of Leveraged Markets at Commerzbank, leading a team which is responsible for structuring, underwriting and distributing all of the bank’s institutional investor driven sub-investment grade financings, ranging from mid-cap LBOs to large multi-billion corporate & sponsor lead leveraged capital markets transactions. Prior to that, Scott was a Senior Director within Leveraged Finance at Dresdner Kleinwort and spent five years at ING Barings within Leveraged and Acquisition Finance.
James spent 22 years as a finance lawyer, 12 as a partner, at Herbert Smith LLP, a leading City of London-based international law firm. His long experience includes acting for borrowers and lenders in new money, refinancing and restructuring work in the syndicated loan, bond, private equity and project finance markets. He joined Xtract Europe in October 2010 as the senior English covenant analyst on high yield bonds and syndicated loans.
