Susana Leith-Smith is a Managing Director in the EMEA Leveraged Finance team at Barclays with 20 years of experience in the space. Based in London, Susana leads the origination and structuring of sub-investment grade debt products (loan and bond) primarily in the Technology, Media and Telecom (TMT) sector for Corporates and Sponsors. She has worked in the team since joining the firm in 2010.
Prior to Barclays, she worked at the Royal Bank of Scotland, most recently as a Director in the Loan and High Yield Capital Markets team. Prior to RBS, Susana was in the Leveraged Finance team at Credit Suisse First Boston, which she joined in 1999 immediately after graduating from university.

Claire joined Permira Debt Managers in September 2017. She focuses on originating, leading and executing new investment opportunities across all sectors.
Previously, Claire worked at HIG WhiteHorse for four years originating and executing deals. She also spent five years at Hawkpoint Partners (where she was involved in the Icelandic restructuring in 2009), three years at Societe Generale in their Leveraged Finance teams in London and Hong Kong and three years at Barclays.

Andy Kolacki has 20 years of experience representing private credit funds, bank lenders, private equity sponsors and corporate borrowers in connection with domestic and cross border acquisition / leveraged financings, refinancings and restructurings. Andy's practice includes unitranche / super senior structures as well as other senior and subordinated capital structures including second lien and PIK facilities.

With 13 years of private equity and leveraged finance experience, Mariana leads a team of eight primary reporters focusing on breaking news across the European leveraged loan, high yield and direct lending space. Mariana and her team uncover upcoming LBOs/debt issuers, underperforming credits and trade ideas, and produce analytical articles on company earnings, new issuance and market trends.
Before joining Debtwire, Mariana was assistant editor and reporter at Mergermarket, covering M&A in the TMT sector with a strong focus on private equity. She started her journalism career at the Evening Standard as part of a journalism award and holds a first class BA (Honours) degree in journalism from University of the Arts London.
