David joined ICG in 2016 as Head of Senior Debt, responsible for originating and managing commercial real estate loans on behalf of pension funds and insurance companies.
Prior to joining ICG, David was the Head of Structured Finance Risk in Real Estate at Santander UK where he was responsible for the oversight and accountability for performance, management and monitoring of c.£5bn loan portfolio. He has also held roles at JP Morgan, Bear Stearns as Vice President in European Real Estate Finance team and King Sturge.
David graduated from Cambridge University with a first class MA (Hons) in Land Economy and is a qualified chartered surveyor (MRICS).

He is currently managing editor at Debtwire ABS Europe, focusing on property finance and distressed debt in Germany and the Netherlands. Prior to that, he was editor of EuroProperty, the fortnightly property newsletter.
