Mr. Parks joined Guggenheim in 2013, as a Managing Director focusing on originating, structuring, and evaluating private and institutional debt for the firm. Prior to joining he worked with Wells Fargo Capital Finance where he was a Managing Director in the Originations and Structuring group for six years. Before beginning at Wells Fargo, Mr. Parks was a high yield credit analyst at ORIX USA for roughly 5 years. Mr. Parks earned his Master’s in Business Administration and Masters of Science from Baylor University and his Bachelor’s Degree in History from Southwestern University.
Benjamin Harrild is the Head of UK for the DirectLending team and has been part of BlueBay’s Direct Lending business since itsinception in 2011. Between 2006 and 2011 Benjamin was a Senior Credit Analystat Citadel, where he was responsible for investments in leveraged loans, highyield bonds and credit default swaps. Prior to that, Benjamin was an AssociateDirector in Leveraged Finance at the Royal Bank of Scotland. Between 1999 and2004, Ben worked at Deloitte and was latterly an Associate Director in theTransaction Services group. He became ACA qualified in 2002. Benjamin holds aBA (Hons) from Nottingham University.
Cristobal Cuart (London) joined KKR in 2010 and is a Director of KKR, focusing on both private debt origination and capital markets solutions for financial sponsors and corporate clients. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Cuart was an Associate at Apollo Global Management, where he invested across industries in private equity and distressed debt transactions. Previously, Mr. Cuart worked at Credit Suisse in the Financial Sponsors and Leverage Finance groups where he underwrote debt for a number of leverage buyouts. Mr. Cuart holds a Masters in Business from ESADE Business School, with a specialization in Finance.
Nick Petrusic is a senior investment professional with more than twenty years of cross-border transaction experience in the pan-European LBO market. He started his career in National Westminster Bank and joined the newly established Acquisition Finance business as the European Buyout market was in its infancy in 1990. After ten years of successful deal making as a senior member of the market leading and well respected NatWest team, he moved to GSC Partners Europe (later known as GSC Group) where he helped establish GSC’s European credit business. His responsibilities as a Managing Director at GSC covered sourcing, evaluating and managing middle and large market mezzanine transactions and maintaining and developing his relationships with sponsors, intermediaries and banks. He became Senior Managing Director and Head of the European business in 2009 with AUM of €3.4 billion taking on additional responsibility for several European CLOs, compliance and investor relations. He joined Black Diamond Capital Management in 2011 as a result of the acquisition of substantially all of the GSC business by Black Diamond and continued as Head of the European office until he left in February 2014.
