Fedele has more than 20 years experience in financial restructuring and distress. He joined PwC in 1996, after 5 years in a financial restructuring local boutique. He has been leading PwC Italian Business Recovery Services since 2008.
In the last 5 years he worked, as leading partner, in several financial restructuring projects on borrower side; Independent business review projects on behalf of the lenders; advisory in distress debt transactions, assisting investors in the acquisition of single names and NPL portfolios; assisting receivers in managing national and international insolvency procedures.
Carlo de Vito Piscicelli is a partner of Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP.
Carlo de Vito Piscicelli’spractice focuses on financing and restructuring matters and he advises alternative asset managers, corporates and financial institutions globally on a wide variety of credit-related investments and situations.
Carlo joined the firm in 2004. He was based in the New York office between 2010 and 2012 and has been based in the London and Milan offices since2012.
Andrea Mignanelli is the CEO of Cerved Credit Management, a leading Italian player in non-performing loans and assets management (over € 52 Billion under management).
A former partner of McKinsey & Company, Andrea has developed an international experience on the Credit and NPL sector advising banks and specialized operators in Italy and other European countries.
Prior to that Andrea has worked for General Electric as a financial analyst, predominantly in the US and UK.
Andrea holds a degree in Corporate Finance at Bocconi University - Milan and a Master in Business Administration at INSEAD - Paris.
Riccardo Serrini joined Prelios in 2011. He's Prelios Group CEO and CEO of Prelios Credit Servicing.
He was previously General Manager and CIO of Prelios SGR. With 22 years of professional experience, 15 of which in real estate finance, he originated, structured, distributed and managed over 12 billion euro worth of equity, quasi-equity and debt transactions, securitizations (CMBS/RMBS) and NPL acquisitions.
He had previously been CEO and Chairman of ING Real Estate Investment Management SGR and of the main investment vehicles, Fund Director of Italian Retail Fund and Head of Business Development. From 2005 to 2008 he worked as Head of SPG Italy at Morgan Stanley International Bank and, previously, as Global Head of Real Estate Finance at Intesa San Paolo.
He graduated in Business Administration at Università Bocconi of Milan.
Up to 2009, after about 15 years of experience in the financial sector, he acquired a deep knowledge of corporate finance and debt advisory, with significant experience in turnaround and financial restructuring in different sectors such as consumer goods, energy, mechanical construction, tourism and biotechnology. He was a board member of companies operating in different sectors.
Alberto Angeloni focuses on Italian, European and international bankruptcy and contentious insolvency law, including litigation and out-of-court matters.
His experience includes representing clients in bankruptcy proceedings such as claw back actions, voluntary and involuntary petitions for bankruptcy, appeals against the opening of bankruptcy proceedings, proceedings for the validation of pre-pack arrangements and composition with creditor plans, and any other matters relating to domestic and international insolvency proceedings.
He also assists debtors and creditors in restructuring and reorganisation matters in compliance with the Italian bankruptcy law.
Alberto has considerable experience in shareholder disputes, board of directors duties and liabilities, as well as corporate and commercial disputes.
Michele is Head of Funds Special Situations at Park Square Capital.
Prior to joining Park Square Capital, he was Managing Director at Terra Firma, in charge of the Operational Secondaries strategy of the firm. Previously he had been Chairman and CEO of Opera SGR where he led the successful takeover of the management of four PE funds, and then the monitoring and exiting of approximately 40 portfolio investments.
Michele has also worked at Lazard, Doughty Hanson, IBM, Morgan Stanley, Olivetti SpA, Stet Società Finanziaria Telefonica and McKinsey & Co.
Michele holds an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a Laurea in Electronic Engineering from the University of Napoli”
Mr Di Meo joined - in 2014 - Sound Point Capital, a New York-based Alternative Investment Manager with US$ 13 billion in credit-focused assets under management. Mr Di Meo works on European investments in the public and private stressed/distressed credit space.
Prior to joining Sound Point Capital, between 2005 and 2014, Mr. Di Meo was a Director in the European Distressed Credit Trading business at Barclays and a stressed/distressed credit analyst at HBK Investments, a multi-billion Dallas-based hedge fund.
Mr Di Meo started his career in private equity in 2001, working for the financial sponsor team of JPMorgan, and then went onto joining Texas Pacific Group (TPG Capital) as an Associate in their European private equity team.
Mr. Di Meo graduated in 2001 in Economics from Bocconi University (Milan) cum laude.
Andrea Novarese is a partner in the Milan office of Latham & Watkins. He is European Chair of the firm’s Automotive industry group.
His practice focuses primarily on the representation of commercial and investment banks, borrowers and issuers, financial institutions, blue-chip companies and investment firms as well as manufacturing industry players.
Prior to joining Latham & Watkins in 2008, Mr. Novarese was a partner of Bonelli Erede Pappalardo.
Guido Lombardo is Head of Banking and Shareholder of Credito Fondiario a fully licensed Italian Bank, which was purchased in 2013 together with Tages Group.
Guido Lombardo founded of Harvest Investment Partners/Harvip focused on advising, organising and financing alternative investments and real estate in Italy. Guido Lombardo initiated the Credito Fondiario transaction and lead its purchase and restructuring.
Prior to that, Mr Lombardo was Managing Director and Responsible for the Private Equity Activity in Italy for Fortress Investment Group and CEO of Italfondiario Spa; Investing in Real Estate, Credit & NPLS purchasing and integrating Intesa Gestione Crediti. Mr. Lombardo was previously a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley (19932004), investment banking/capital markets in project finance and focused in securitisations; leading the most innovative securitisations in Europe and Responsible for Southern Europe. Prior to that at Hambros Bank Ltd (1987-1993) and Chase Manhattan Bank NA (1984-1987). Educated in the USA and in France, he holds a bachelor and master degrees in Finance from ESC Rouen Business School. (NEOMA).
Matteo is a shareholder of GWM Group Holding SA and Managing Partner of GWM Capital Advisors LLP, the Investment Advisor of selected funds managed by GWM Group, authorized and regulated by the UK Financial Conduct Authority. Matteo has over 20 years’ experience in the real estate investments and finance sector. Prior to joining GWM Matteo was managing director of BNP Paribas, CIB division, heading the RE division for Europe ex-France and before that he held a similar role within the global RE group of Lehman Brothers. Matteo executed over €20 bn of RE transactions in Europe, including investments in offices, healthcare, retail, and residential asset classes and private and public debt and equity fund raisings. Matteo has executed over €15 bn of RE transaction in Italy, with counterparties including institutional investors, property companies, public entities, and professional investors. Matteo holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Universita’ Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, in Milan.
Graduated in Economics at Bocconi University, Francesco is the co-founder of Guber SpA, now Guber Banca SpA, which serves as Chief Executive Officer.
He is also a Board Member of Star Finance, a platform related to Guber and dedicated to in-bankruptcy composition management, and President of REStar, a platform dedicated to distressed Real Estate asset management.
He is the co-founder of Fondazione Etica, a foundation focused on social impact innovation.
Alessia Pirolo is Head of NPL Coverage at Debtwire ABS. From a previous focus on Southern European Commercial Real Estate, she is now in charge to expand Debtwire's NPL coverage areas around the world. Before joining Debtwire, she covered U.S. and European commercial real estate for The Wall Street Journal, and the Commercial Observer. She holds a master’s degree from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
Chiara joined Debtwire in February 2008. Since then she has been covering restructurings and distressed, with a focus on retail, construction and food & beverage sectors. In the past few years she has been expanding Debtwire's Southern Europe coverage, unveiling distressed opportunities in Spain and Italy. She is currently an Editor in charge of leading new coverage initiatives.
In Italy she worked as reporter at Corriere della Sera, Il Messaggero, RAI covering current news and international affairs.
Chiara graduated in Classics at Scuola Normale Superiore, Pisa, where she also got a PhD in June 2010.
