Vincenzo joined DEA in 2016, and he is Managing Director in the direct funds investment programs division.
In 2011 Vincenzo founded i31Faber, a consulting firm specialized in debt arranging and financial restructuring and from 2006 to 2011 he was General Manager at Nem Sgr.
Previously he had been executive in the Investment Banking and Leveraged Finance team at Intesa Sanpaolo and Auditor in KPMG.
Vincenzo graduated in 1996 in Business Administration from University Federico II of Naples.
Guido Lombardo is Head of Banking and Shareholder of Credito Fondiario a fully licensed Italian Bank, which was purchased in 2013 together with Tages Group.
Guido Lombardo founded of Harvest Investment Partners/Harvip focused on advising, organising and financing alternative investments and real estate in Italy. Guido Lombardo initiated the Credito Fondiario transaction and lead its purchase and restructuring.
Prior to that, Mr Lombardo was Managing Director and Responsible for the Private Equity Activity in Italy for Fortress Investment Group and CEO of Italfondiario Spa; Investing in Real Estate, Credit & NPLS purchasing and integrating Intesa Gestione Crediti. Mr. Lombardo was previously a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley (19932004), investment banking/capital markets in project finance and focused in securitisations; leading the most innovative securitisations in Europe and Responsible for Southern Europe. Prior to that at Hambros Bank Ltd (1987-1993) and Chase Manhattan Bank NA (1984-1987). Educated in the USA and in France, he holds a bachelor and master degrees in Finance from ESC Rouen Business School. (NEOMA).
Education: Antonella has a Degree in Law and a Master and attended several courses at Amsterdam Institute of Finance, Harvard and Insead
Experience: Antonella joined Lindorff as Country Manager in May 2016 after 17 years in PwC where she was a partner with special focus on non-performing loans (NPL), as well as financial restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, valuations and corporate finance; she was responsible for Italy of the European Portfolio Advisory Group. She spent one year at PwC London.
From January 2018 she is the Italian Managing Director of Intrum .
Married with three children, he graduated “cum laude” in Economics at the University of Bocconi in Milan. He joined Intesa Sanpaolo in 2002, and is currently in charge of the Capital Light Bank. Previously, he led the Strategic Operations and Special Projects Unit, reporting directly to the CEO, and was responsible for all M&A and Corporate Development activities of the Bank. He was also in charge of a number of projects of particular strategic and organisational importance. In that period, he concluded around 50 transactions including acquisitions, disposals and mergers, worth more than €30 billion, and he personally oversaw the merger between Intesa and Sanpaolo in 2006. Before joining the Bank, he worked for The Chase Manhattan Bank, Mc Kinsey & Co. and Euromobiliare and, in the role of Gruppo Gabbianelli-Vogue’s managing director and main investor, he successfully led a leveraged buyout operation to create a high-class point of reference in the ceramic tiles sector. The operation concluded with the sale of the Group to a direct competitor.
Fedele has more than 20 years experience in financial restructuring and distress. He joined PwC in 1996, after 5 years in a financial restructuring local boutique. He has been leading PwC Italian Business Recovery Services since 2008.
In the last 5 years he worked, as leading partner, in several financial restructuring projects on borrower side; Independent business review projects on behalf of the lenders; advisory in distress debt transactions, assisting investors in the acquisition of single names and NPL portfolios; assisting receivers in managing national and international insolvency procedures.
Antonio Lombardo is the Partner who heads the Finance and Projects department at DLA Piper Italy. Antonio has gained significant experience in finance law, advising leading financial institutions in corporate lending structured finance, acquisition finance and other finance and restructuring matters. He is engaged in domestic and international M&A, distressed M&A and structuring of impaired credits disposals. He is also involved in international projects such as complex cross-border acquisitions and financings, joint ventures and public bids.
Ernesto Apuzzo leads the Italian Restructuring and Insolvency team.
In his almost 20 year legal career, Ernesto Apuzzo has advised Italian and international clients in a significant number of debt restructuring and turnaround transactions. Ernesto has extensive experience in M&A transactions in financial distress particularly in the financial institutions industry where he has gained a very strong and well-recognised track record. He advises also financial institutions in the transfer of Italian NPL positions.
Ernesto was appointed, together with an eminent representative from an Italian University, for drafting a proposal for a new Italian legislation on enforcement procedures and pre-bankruptcy tools within the working group established by the Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance. Their work resulted in Law Decree No. 83 enacted on 27 June 2015.

Francesco De Gennaro is a Partner in the Finance and Projects department at DLA Piper Italy. Francesco focuses on financial restructurings and special opportunities investments, ranging from transactional assistance to lenders and investors, such as special opportunities funds and hedge funds on financial and corporate restructurings, to distressed M&A and assets acquisitions, distressed real estate projects and debt trading. He is also experienced in bankruptcy-related litigation and protection of creditors' rights. He is ranked within the top positions by the main Italian and international legal directories.
Born in Naples in 1964, he graduated in Economics & Finance at the “Università Federico II di Napoli” with the highest grade.
He started working in 1984 for BNL (Banca Nazionale del Lavoro). During his career he had important guide roles in other three Merchant Banks (in the last one he was CEO).
In 2000 he joined Efibanca, the Investment Banking arm of Banco Popolare Group specialized in Shipping Finance, where he assumed the role of Head of Advisory – M&A Division in Milan.
He was involved in several and important Private Equity Joint Ventures between Efibanca and Shipping Companies such as Moby S.p.A., Onorato Family in Ro-Pax Ferries, Gestao de Nevegaçao Lda, Premuda Group in the Tanker Sector, Aurora Shipping S.p.A. and Giuseppe D’Amato Family in the bulk Sector.
He’s been engaged in Shipping Industry for the last 20 years and, throughout his career, he has established excellent relationships with most Italian ship-owners and some key international shipping players.
He is a Board member of CONFITARMA (Italian Ship owner Association), and also Vice President of the Fiscal & Financial Commission.
In 2009 he founded a new Private Equity and Advisory Vehicle targeted on Shipping Industry: Venice Shipping and Logistics S.p.A., where he assumed the role of Managing Director.
Mr. Braicovich is Co-Head Corporate Finance Italy and Managing Director of Leonardo & Co., a joint venture with Houlihan Lokey in Italy. He has 25 years of investment banking experience in debt advisory and restructuring, bond and loan structuring and underwriting, global capital markets, derivatives products, and M&A.
Prior to Leonardo & Co., Mr. Braicovich spent 14 years in the investment banking divisions of JPMorgan Chase and Credit Suisse before joining Morgan Stanley as Head of Italian Corporate Debt in the Global Capital Markets Division, and as Executive Director in the Investment Banking Division.
Mr. Braicovich holds a degree in Economics from Bocconi University in Milan.
He has over 20 years of experience in private equity, first in Advent International, where he worked as a Principal in the London, Frankfurt and Milan offices, and then in J. Hirsch & Co., where he was Managing Director. He started his career in Arthur Andersen and then moved to the structured finance department of Greenwich Natwest. He holds a degree in Business Administration and an MBA, Barney School - University of Hartford.
